Equipment Service and Repair
Warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below:


1. Warranty

a.This warranty shall be valid for a period of 90 (ninety) days of the day of shipment to Buyer. Customers can purchase an extended warranty. All modifications of the warranty must be made in writing.
b.Scientific Support warrants that the products sold are free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of sale.
c.Warranty coverage is limited to electrical or mechanical failures, which occur when equipment is operated according to the manufacturer's instructions. At our discretion warranty remedy shall be limited to repair, replacement or refund of the purchase price.

2. Exclusions and Limitations.

a.This warranty is exclusive. Seller makes no other warranty, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose.
b.Scientific Support has no liability for any product returned if Scientific Support determines, in its sole discretion, that the asserted defect is attributable to misuse, improper installation, improper or inadequate maintenance, alteration, including removing or obliterating seals, labels and opening or removing external covers (unless authorized to do so by Scientific Support), accident or mishandling.
c.The warranty applies only to products within the country of original delivery.
d.The warranty does not cover loss, damage or defects resulting from transportation.

3. Claims and Return Procedure

a.All claims must be made in writing within 5 (five) days from the date of delivery (in case of loss, shortage, or discrepancy) or failure.
b. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must accompany all returns. Please contact our customer service representative to obtain a RMA number, which must be placed on the outside and inside of your returned product package, for adequate identification. If products returned without a valid RMA number Scientific Support reserves the right to refuse the shipment or to accept it, and in the latter case, the shipment will be held as the Buyer's property and without responsibility to the Seller.
c.Scientific Support reserves the right to charge Buyer a restocking fee in an amount to be determined by its sole discretion, but not exceeding 20%. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges, customs duties and import taxes.

4. Exclusive Remedies

a.Entire liability for any defective product shall in no event exceed the purchase price for the defective product. This limitation applies even if Scientific Support cannot or do not repair or replace any defective product and Buyer's exclusive remedy fails of its essential purpose.
b.Scientific Support has no liability for general, direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or special damages. These include lost profits and the cost of the installation or removal of any product, the installation of replacement products, and any inspection, testing, or the repair or replacement of products arising from a defect in any product.
